Polycom IP 4000 Conference Phone Description:

The Polycom IP 4000 conference phone is a SIP protocol based conference phone designed to run voice over IP (VoIP). The Polycom IP 4000 features improved speakers and microphones over the previous IP 3000 conference phone. Built around the SIP protocol, the IP 4000 (MPN: 2200-06640-001) is compatible with many different phone systems and even hosted phone solutions.

Managing the IP 4000 is a breeze with support for both static IPs as well as DHCP. The conference phone supports web based configuration and support through HTTP and allows for TFTP and FTP updates and configuration files. The updated SIP conference phone is the Polycom IP 6000.
