The Aastra Mobility Base Unit 400 (A1762-0000-02-00) is a wireless based phone system designed to work with DECT 6.0 technology as well as the SIP protocol. The Aastra MBU is designed for the small business market. The system can support up to 8 cordless phones on the system, making it ideal for a small or expanding business. Each phone can easily be added on an individual basis. The system also allows for up to 8 SIP registrations on the unit, and an analog FXO port for back up POTS communication should your SIP trunks fail.

The Aastra MBU 400 supports intergration with the AstraLink Pro 160 unified communications system. This web interface makes managing your Aastra phone system a breeze, from configuring to supporting each individual phone.

The phone system employs DECT 6.0 technology, which uses a different spectrum than traditional 900mhz cordelss phones or the crowded 2.4Ghz band. Instead the Aastra Mobility Base Unit operates at 1.9 Ghz, freeing the phones connection from interference and allowing for clear, crisp phone conversations.
