Adtran Port Console Cable Description:

These cables are all new quality replacement cables for your Adtran router or switch. These DB9 cables allow you to console into Adtran units and reach the command line interface. Direct console access is required for several important commands such as factory defaulting units or removing passwords. Each console cable plugs into a serial port on your PC.

Choosing the right cable for your Adtran router or switch:

Older white faced Adtran units use the satin craft silver cable

Newer routers or switches with a blue face require the black cable.

• Option 1: Black. Straight DB9 to DB9 connect. For use with a blue face router or switch Part #: 1200881E1
• Option 2: Silver. DB9 to RJ45. For use with white face routers or switches
• Option 3: DB9 to USB.  For use with blue face units and a laptop when a serial port isn't present on your computer.
