HP 3500-48G YL Description:

Since the HP 3500-48G YL is a 48 port PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch, it will deliver power to 802.3af certified equipment. The equipment your HP 3500-48G YL can power includes IP Phones, terminal adapters, and so much more at 10/100/1000 auto-sensing speeds. Four of the ports can be either Ethernet or mini-GBIC fiber ports. An open module slot is built in allowing for a module that supports up to four 10GbE ports for uplinking. The HP 3500-48G YL utilizes HP's core-to-edge ProVision software which allows for faster internal network structure with the use of an HP ProCurve setup.
