The Polycom SoundPoint IP 550 is an advanced SIP based phone that works on a wide range of business phone platforms. The phone supports up to four simultaneous lines allowing users to handle a large call volume. With Polycom's HD Voice technology, the Polycom IP 550 provides top of the line voice clarity for every conversation. A large graphical display provides room for the line keys to be labeled and provides room for a navigational menu.
A full duplex speakerphone is included with the Polycom IP 550 for handsfree communication. The phone can be powered by either power over Ethernet or through an optional power supply. The Polycom 550 supports Acoustic Clarity Technology 2, helping to provide noise cancellation in noisy environments. The phones can be powered via either local power injector or a power over Ethernet (PoE) switch.

Is this set compatible with Ring Central?
RingCentral states that retired Polycom SoundPoint model phones like the 300, 301, 320, 330, 430, 500, 501, 600 and 601 will not work with their service. To be safe, you should use the VVX series such as the VVX 500, VVX 600, VVX 411, and more. There are also other brands of phones such as Yealink and some Cisco that work - but we recommend checking out RingCentral's compatibility list prior to ordering.
