Avaya 1608 IP Phone 700415557 Description:

The Avaya 1608 IP phone is an affordable, but powerful IP phone designed for the Avaya one-X system. The IP 1608 telephone features a backlit display which shows the date / time, caller ID, and context sensitive menu items. 3 menu buttons below the display allow for easy programming of this Avaya phone. The IP 1608 has 8 line appearance / feature key buttons with a pair of LEDs that monitor the status of the lines.

The Avaya IP 1608 supports a full duplex speakerphone, allowing for superior hands free communication. An adjustable stand on the 1608 allows users to position the phone on their desk how they see fit. A built in contacts management tool allows for up to 100 phone number entries to be stored locally on the phone. The 1608 IP phone has built in support for the H.323 protocol and supports the G.711, G.726, and G.729A/B codes.
