Avaya 1616-I (700458540) Phone Description:

The Avaya 1616-I (700458540) IP Phone is an executive level phone just like the 1616; however, the Avaya 1616 has been discontinued and replaced by the Avaya 1616-i.  The Avaya 1616-I is compatible with Avaya Communication Manager 3.0 or Avaya IP Office 6.0 and later versions of both, whereas the regular 1616 would accept lower versions of the IP Office.  The Avaya 700458540 has 16 programmable line or feature buttons which can be used for extensions, lines etc.  Three soft keys along with the navigational key make configuring this phone simple.  The large four row display is backlit on the Avaya 1616-I with white light so you can read in low lighting conditions.  This Avaya IP Phone includes fourteen fixed feature keys that allow easy access to the full duplex speakerphone and integrated headset jack.

The Avaya 1616-I (700458540) IP Phone can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) with any 802.3af compliant switch or device, or the optional 5V power supply.  Dual integrated Ethernet ports give you the ability to use a single network drop to connect both your phone and computer, very convenient and less work for installers. The 1616-I is the  backlit version of the Avaya 1616 IP phone.
