Dell PowerConnect 6224F Fiber Network Switch Description:

The Dell PowerConnect 6224F is a 24 port network switch that provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet fiber ports. The Dell PowerConnect 6224F is ideal for providing Gigabit speed SFP fiber ports to be distributed across a campus network. Four integrated 1000Base-T combo ports are included that allow ports 21 through 24 to be operated in either SFP or Ethernet modes. The Dell PowerConnect 6224F can be stacked with other Dell 6200 series network switches including the Dell PowerConnect 6248P. Two module bay slots support 10Gb uplinks in SFP+, CX4, or 10GBASE-T formats.

The Dell PowerConnect 6224F provides the same enterprise network features as the other 6200 series switches, including broadcast storm control, iSCSI auto-configuration, and a switch fabric capacity of 136.0 Gbps. The Dell 6224F supports a forwarding rate of up to 95 Mpps and can store up to 8,000 MAC Addresses. The switch can support up to 224 IPv4 routes, up to 128 IPv6 routes, up to 128 RIP routing interfaces, and can support multiple VLAN tagging including double VLAN tagging. Up to 1204 VLANs are supported by the Dell 6224F.
