The Mitel 5224 is an IP phone designed by Mitel. This powerful features 24 programmable keys that allow you to perform multiple functions. These keys come with dual-color LED indicators allowing you to monitor the status of a line, extension, or whatever you have programmed. In addition to the programmable keys, the IP 5224 includes 8 fixed feature keys - hold, superkey, message, speaker, microphone, transfer, conference, redial, and cancel.
The Mitel 5224 is both hearing aid company and includes a half duplex speakerphone for handsfree communication.The IP 5224 features a 2 line backlit display that includes contrast control and auto-dimming standard.
The Mitel 5224 supports power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3af to the phone. Using a PoE device eliminates the need to have a power supply running into your computer. A power supply should be used with the IP 5224 when PoE is not available. The IP 5224 has an integrated 10/100 Ethernet switch for combining your phone and PC onto a single network drop.
