NEC 80556 BDS 24 Button DSS Console Description:

The NEC 80556 BDS is a 24 button DSS console that attaches to select NEC phones. The NEC 80556 attaches to the 34 Button Aspirephone (80663) and 34 Button Super Aspirephone (80673). The NEC 80556 DSS provides an additional 24 programmable buttons that can be used as DSS (Direct Station Selections). The DSS has LED status indicators that alert the user to status of the programmed extensions.

The NEC 80556 does not require a separate station port or power supply. Both the power and data connection come from the Aspirephone the expansion console is attached to.
