Polycom VVX 500 Gigabit IP Phone Description
The Polycom VVX 500 is a touchscreen based IP phone. The phone's 12 lines can all be configured to be easily operated through the large color display. The VVX500 has a Gigabit Ethernet switch included for high speed connectivity when connect your phone and PC on the same network drop.
The Polycom phone has a full duplex speakerphone along with a RJ-9 headset port for handsfree conversations. Acoustic Clarity Technology and HD Voice G.722 codec allow for crisp, clear audio. Base on SIP, the protocol allows for broad interoperability with several vendors and manufacturers. The phone can be powered via IEEE 802.3af power over Ethernet or through a 48V power injector.
