The Dell PowerConnect series of switches seem to set the standard when it comes to features, reliability, and security.  The PowerConnect 5524P is a twenty-four port switch that features Gigabit speeds and Power over Ethernet capabilities.  Gigabit Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Base-T ensure your network will perform at the highest possible level, while the PoE capabilities enable you to power IP phones and other devices throughout the office.  Dual SFP+ fiber ports make it possible for you to connect additional switches and networking equipment while that dual HDMI stacking ports allow you to stack multiple switches together.  Stacking multiple switches together via the HDMI ports means they will all "act" as one single switch which can be configured and managed via the simple web-based GUI or CLI.  The Dell PowerConnect 5524P supports up to 16,000 MAC addresses and 4,000 user-configurable VLANS.  The Dell 5524P has a durable metal chassis that is a standard 1U in size.
