The Dell PowerConnect 6024F is a 24 port switch meant for aggregating various fiber connections. The Dell PowerConnect 6024F is ideal for campus network setups where the fiber lines from SFP ports can be run for much longer distances than traditional Ethernet. Eight Ethernet interfaces are included as combo ports that can be used instead of the fiber ports for local connectivity. The switch provides Gigabit speed to each port for deployments where speed is critical.

The Dell 6024F is a managed switch that supports both command line interface in addition to a web-based graphical user interface (GUI). The 6024F comes with a host of standard features including VLAN support, Quality of Service, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, and SSL / SSH encryption.
