The Vertical 9840 is an executive level phone and belongs to the Edge series boasting some impressive features for the Wave IP solution.  Utilizing a desi-less design (fancy term for no paper and plastic desis), the Vertical Edge 9840 can utilize up to twenty-four programmable buttons.  The Edge 9840 also has an integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch, a speakerphone, headset port, and more.
