Adtran NetVanta 1224ST PoE Network Switch 1200584L1 Description:

This is the Power over Ethernet version of the NetVanta 1224ST switch. This switch provides full 15.4W power specified in the IEEE 802.3af specification to all 24 ports. It is an ideal switch for powering IP phones or other endpoints that can use PoE power.

The Adtran NetVanta 1224ST PoE network switch is a 24 port Ethernet switch. The 1224ST delivers Fast Ethernet speed to all the ports, and is capable of both auto-rate and auto-duplex negotiation. The 1200584L1 is a managed switch that allows users to configure the switch how they see fit, including using special MAC address based port security.

The Adtran 1224ST has an additional pair of combo ports located on the side of the switch. These ports are 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet ports or SFP fiber ports. They can be used for uplinking or stacking switches together. Up to 16 switches can be stacked together and can be managed by a single IP address.

The 1200584L1 supports Class of Service (CoS) for prioritizing VoIP traffic. In addition, the 1224ST has support for IEEE 802.1D spanning tree and 802.1W rapid spanning tree support.

The 1200584L1 has support for vLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks). The switch also has the ability to support QoS management for traffic prioritization. The 1200584L1 features a built in Web based GUI for easy visual programming. The Adtran 1224ST has built in storm control protection to prevent the witch from being overloaded by a loop back connection.
