Dell PowerConnect 5548 Description:

The Dell PowerConnect 5548 is a 48 port Gigabit network switch. Designed to be easily stacked with other switches, the Dell 5548 can be stacked through 10GbE interfaces and the switch supports uplinking through 10Gb ports. With the stacking ports easily available, the Dell 5548 is designed to support multiple switches to allow a network to grow with the company itself.

The Dell PowerConnect 5548 supports advanced features such as USB configuration for rapidly deploying the switches. The Dell 5548 can be stacked by HDMI or SFP ports. The Dell PowerConnect 5548 can support a total switch fabric capacity of up to 128.0 Gbps. The switch has a forwarding rate of 65.47 Mpps and can support up to 16,000 MAC addresses. The Dell 5548 supports limited layer 3 routing capabilities, including up to 64 static routes. Up to 4,000 VLANs are supported by the Dell PowerConnect 5548 and the switch can support dynamic VLANs with GVRP support.
