The Adtran NetVanta 3205 (MPN: 1202870L1) is a modular router designed to accept various network interface modules (NIMs). This router provides access to the internet, a public and private frame relay, the ability to use leased line connections, and support for VPNs (Virtual private networks). The NetVanta 3205 (1202870L1) has built in support for the E1 standard, allowing for global applications. The 1202870L1 has a built in CSU / DSU for enabling communication from you local network to your host's digital line.

This Adtran Netvanta 3205 Router includes a WAN-T1 / DBU module (MPN: 1202862L1) in the router's expansion slot. The WAN-T1 / DBU module terminates a T1 line from your line provider to your local network. This module provides a single RJ-48C connector to connect to your incoming T1 line.

The 1202870L1 is the Second Generation NetVanta 3205.
