Polycom SoundStation Conference phones come in many different variations. These include analog units such as the original SoundStation and SoundStation 2 conference phones, specific digital models for certain phone systems, and even the newer IP conference phones. With the older SoundStation units, they came in two different versions. These are the Ex and Non-Ex versions. Ex stands for expandable.
